APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Applying for a SEPS contribution towards the translation of a work is simple, but there is a procedure that must be followed rigorously.
The application must be presented at the beginning of the editorial project.
The publisher who wishes to apply for a contribution towards a translation
must:
1. download the APPLICATION FORM
2. fill in the APPLICATION FORM and sign it
3. attach to the 2 copies of the APPLICATION FORM :
- 3 copies of the book to be translated
- 1 copy of the contract with the copyright holder (or, in an initial stage, 1 letter of intent)
- 1 copy of the contract with the translator (or, in an initial stage, the estimate of costs)
- Curriculum vitae of the translator(s)
- Recent catalogue of the publishing firm
- Press review
4. send all the documentation to:

Contributions may be requested only for the cost of the translation and for works that have not yet been translated into the specified language.
The application for a contribution may be presented at any time of the year.
A reply will be given within 90 days after having received the complete documentation.
In return SEPS asks that the publisher prints the SEPS' logo on the back cover of the translated book and prints an acknowledgement in the copyright page of the translated book.
If the request is accepted, the contribution will be paid on publication of the book.
