The reflection on the structure and the constitutive moments of the judgement, namely the speech apophantic speech - the propositional form "S is P" - is, from Aristotle, a fundamental moment of philosophical reflection, so that one could say with right that every ontology, every metaphysic, every theory of knowledge finds its deepest meaning in a particular conception of the judgement.
