Playwright, poet and prose writer among the greatest of German literature, von Kleist revealed his greatness especially in three dramas ("Penthesilea", "Katherine of Heilbronn"and "The Prince of Homburg"). Production supported by a large number of dramatic stories. Kleist's still more than two hundred letters, and parallel to the letters was to be his "History of my soul, never shown to anyone, never finished and perhaps set on fire on the eve of suicide. This biography returns in a tight narrative, tragic, lyric, an extreme character, always looking like its protagonists, a truth that escapes and an "impossible"way to happiness.
