Gli anni fra cane e lupo

1969-1994. Il racconto dell'Italia ferita a morte

Rosetta Loy wrote this book to leave a testimony to younger generations on the bloody events that have torn Italy in the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s and that still marks it.

From the bombing of the Banca Nazionale dell'Agricoltura in Milan, on December 12, 1969 to the installation of the neo-fascist party with a triumphant entrepreneur and media owner, the novelist tells in her manner, rigorous, clear, documented, moving and appalled, the sequence of tragedies and the disarray of observers.

It is a key document for understanding Italy today and the world we live in. Since Pasolini and Sciascia, no Italian writer voice had risen with this strength and accuracy.
